Enock L Kamuzora

ENOCK L KAMUZORA, the President of BUDEFO, is a holder of a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education both from the University of East Africa (Makerere College). He boasts a long and celebrated career as a teacher, headmaster, civil servant, and consultant. During his career, Enock established the Tanzania Industrial Studies and Consulting Organization which he steered as its founder Director General from 1976 to 1994 when he retired from public service. He has served on several boards of directors including the Tanzania Investment Bank (Member), the Bureau of Standards (Vice Chairman), Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (Member), Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (Vice Chairman), and Tanzania Economic Development Initiative (Chairman).

He has gathered vast experience in running non-governmental organizations including Kanyigo Development Association as Chairman, Front Against Corrupt Elements in Tanzania as Chairman and Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club as Trustee. He has also been involved in Church leadership as a member of the Governing Council of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), and Chairman of the Church’s Finance Committee.
